Grandma Hill
My Grandma Hill's birthday is on December 18th. Every year on her birthday, she would give all her grandkids an ornament! She passed away almost 6 years ago, but her children - my Dad and his 2 sisters - continue the tradition. We now get together on a Sunday close to her birthday (this year was the 20th), have a dinner, and open ornaments, youngest to oldest.

What a great tradition to keep going. I remember at her funeral that she was described as a lady of grace, and that really stuck with me. Not only because it was true, but because it seemed like something to strive for as well.
