Fun with Cousins

My brother and his kids came over last Sunday night and Jordan and Kason were bud's the whole night. We opened our front closet to hang up a "johnny jumper" for Sophie (you'll see a video later) and the boys just plopped their little buns in there:

Jordan wanted to watch a movie, so we put on a movie in mine and Shawn's room:

Jordan sat in Sophie's car seat and Kason thought that was so funny. Then Kason thought it would be fun to push Jordan forward and backward:

Sophie has the strongest legs! If you're holding her, all she does is push up on her legs. So I wanted to see if she could jump in a "johnny jumper" and she did really good. Kason thought it was hilarious when she would jump:

{Dang it!!! I tried uploading the video 3 times and it wouldn't work! I'll see if it will let me upload it later...}

Trapped in the cupboard!

I was putting dishes away and as always, Kason came running over to check out the opened cupboard. I let him "explore" that cupboard for a minute and the next thing I heard was little cries coming from the kitchen. I went to check it out and this is what I found:
After pulling out all the bowls, he decided to sit in the cupboard and close the door on himself. Well, he closed it a little too far and the latch thing caught on and locked him in there.

The Birds

Have any of you seen Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds"? If you haven't click here for a trailer about it. I SWEAR that's what's going on outside of my house!!! Ok so maybe I'm exagerating just a little bit - they aren't pecking at anyBODY (just the ground), and there's not thousands of them (just a couple dozen), but they are loud and VERY annoying!!! Yesterday I looked out the window and they were all over the yard in front of our apartment. I tried to get a picture of it but they flew away to the neighbor's yard by the time I got my camera. So I took this picture and it doesn't even show HALF of what was out there!

They were back today "cawing" away and driving me CRAZY!!! I'm not sure what they were poking at on the ground - all I can say is weird!

Little Einstein's

For those of you who have seen the kid's t.v. show "Little Einstein's," you will probably get this video. But I'll try to explain it to those who haven't seen it. Ok, so Kason loves this show and now he does the actions to the "mission" song and I just think it is so cute! At the begining of the show, the kids have to go on a mission but they need to get their rocket going, so they do a couple steps:
1. They (the kids on the show) say something like, "Buckle Up!" and that's the first thing you hear Kason saying;
2. Then they say "We've got to get rocket going so pat your legs like this," and that's when Kason lifts up his blanket and pats his legs;
3. Then they say, "Faster," and Kason usually copies them by saying "patpatpatpatpat," but a yawn got in the way;
4. Then they say, "Now raise your hands as high as you can," and Kason raises them;
5. Then they say, "Now say BLAST OFF!" and you get Kason's version of blast off.

It always makes me smile when I see him do this! I must say that I have the cutest kid EVER!!!

Sour Face

Ok so we may be the meanest parents, but we got a good laugh out of it (and it's not really hurting him - he actually likes it haha)!

(Very sorry about the burp in the background - that would be my wonderful husband hahahaha)
