Finally...

Fun at the Park

Last Monday, it was a beautiful day and I really wanted to get the boys out of the house. So we went to pick up "Auntie Beth" (Shawn's sister, Mason calls her that - super cute haha!) and went to play at a park by her house.

There was a huge soccer field at the park and the boys loved walking on the painted lines haha!

Would you believe it SNOWED the next day?!?!?! I can't wait for Spring (haha it IS Spring but I'm talking about real Spring weather!!!) and Summer so we can play outside a lot more - especially Summer, so we can play with Beth's girls too (they were in school on this day)!

Easter

Whenever Shawn vacuums, Kason loves to "vacuum" with him with a long duster (you'll see what I'm talking about in the 2nd video). So we decided to buy him a toy vacuum for Easter. We let him have it on the Saturday before Easter. This video shows him opening the closet where we keep the regular vacuum and finding his new surprise:

We pulled out his vacuum and he didn't want to touch it! "OH GREAT!!!" we thought, when he wanted the duster to vacuum but then he decided that his vacuum was pretty cool:

Easter morning, we hid some plastic eggs filled with candy and money for Kason and he was so cute finding them and opening them! Of course I didn't get any photos of it though! After church, we went to my Grandparents house for dinner and an egg hunt for the little kids. Here are my cute niece and nephew:

My VERY Exciting Find...

As most of you know, we live in a 2-bedroom apartment. I would say it's pretty big for a 2-bedroom apartment, but I have found that Kason's toys have overtaken our living room! We obviously don't have room for a play room, and I really wanted our living room to be just that, so I wanted to get all the toys in Kason's room. I decided that I wanted to purchase a toy holder bin thing (Did you get that?!?! You'll see what I'm talking about - keep reading...) but knew they were about $60! So it would definitely be awhile before I bought it.

On Saturday, we were driving down our street and I saw it! I saw the colorful bins and new it was what I wanted. I screamed to Shawn, "That's what I want!" So he turned around and we stopped at the "Moving Sale" that was going on. They wanted $15 for it and I said, "You got it!" Are you just dying to know what it is that was my VERY exciting find????

Okay, so there are just a FEW toys still in the living room, but I am extremely happy with the way it is now. So where did all the toys go???
